The lap pool's straight lanes are ideal for kicking drills, glides and stroke practice. There is no separate wading pool listed, so for babies and toddlers the coach uses the shallowest section and works within arm's reach. Beginners of any age are taught in the shallow end until they can float and push off.

Access and pool rules
Lessons depend on your access as a resident of The Azure. You register the coach as your guest and the coach follows the pool rules and hours set by the management. Please check with the management office about any policy on external instructors. We are not affiliated with the development.
Coach matching
Tell us the swimmer's age, experience and your preferred days. We match a coach whose experience fits, for example a coach used to toddlers, a female coach for ladies' lessons, or a coach experienced with autism. Weather
The pool is outdoors. The lesson pauses on lightning risk and is rescheduled if the risk persists. Coaches will message you in advance if a storm makes the lesson unlikely, so you are not left waiting at the pool.

Is The Azure suitable for baby swimming lessons without a wading pool?
Yes, with care. The coach uses the shallowest part of the lap pool and a parent is in the water. If you would prefer a dedicated wading pool, we can advise on alternatives.
Can I share a lesson with a neighbour's child?
Yes, if both children are residents or authorised guests and of similar age and ability. Pairs and small groups share the cost.
How long does it take to learn freestyle here?
A child aged six to ten who can already float usually swims a recognisable freestyle within a couple of months of weekly lessons. Refining it takes longer.
