Ages are a guide. A confident three-year-old may be ready for the kids programme; a hesitant five-year-old may be happier starting with a parent in the water.

What every programme has in common

Taught at your pool

Lessons take place at your condominium pool in Sentosa Cove or your private pool, subject to resident access and the estate's rules. See the locations we serve.

Small numbers

Never more than four students with one coach. Most Sentosa families choose 1-to-1 or a pair of siblings.

A consistent coach

The same coach each week. If the match is not right, we change it. Read how coach matching works.

Safety before speed

Floating, breathing and self-rescue come before stroke polish in every programme, because most Sentosa homes sit beside water.

A structured path

Water confidence, breathing and floating, kicking and gliding, strokes, water safety, then distance and refinement. Lessons can be aligned to SwimSafer stages on request.

Clear pricing

Rates depend on format, age and frequency. See the pricing guide and ask for a quote.

Which Sentosa swimming class should we start with?

My child is under three. Start with baby or toddler lessons. You will be in the water with them, and the aim is comfort and safety, not strokes.

My child is four to twelve and cannot swim. Kids lessons, 1-to-1 or with a sibling. Expect several months of weekly lessons before independent swimming.

My child can swim but not well. Kids lessons with a stroke-correction focus. A pair or small group with a similar-level friend keeps it fun.

I am an adult who never learned. Adult lessons, 1-to-1, at a quiet time at your pool. Many of our adult students started in their thirties, forties and later.

I want a female coach and privacy. Ladies lessons.

My child has autism or sensory needs. Special needs lessons with a coach experienced in adaptive teaching.

I want to understand the formats first. Private swimming lessons compares 1-to-1, pairs, groups and family sessions.

Choosing a programme

Can beginners join?

Yes. Most of our students start as complete beginners. Lessons begin with water confidence and breathing, then floating, kicking and stroke basics, at the pace that suits the swimmer.

How many students are in a class?

One, two, three or four. We do not run large groups at residential pools. Most Sentosa families choose 1-to-1 or a pair of siblings; small groups of three or four work well for children of similar age and ability.

How long is each swimming lesson?

Lessons for children and adults are usually 45 minutes to one hour. Baby and toddler sessions are shorter, typically about 30 minutes, because young children tire and get cold sooner. The exact duration is confirmed when we match your coach.

Can lessons follow the SwimSafer programme?

Lessons can be structured around the stages of Singapore's national SwimSafer programme if you want your child to progress through recognised skill levels. Ask about this when you enquire.

Can we book a single lesson to try first?

Yes. Many families start with a single lesson to meet the coach and see how the child responds before committing to a regular slot. Tell us you would like a trial when you enquire.

What if my child does not connect with the coach?

Tell us. A good match matters more than persistence, so we will arrange a different coach where availability allows. No long explanation is needed.

Not sure which programme fits?

Tell us the swimmer's age and what they can do in the water today. We will recommend a programme and a coach.
