Seven Palms Sentosa Cove Swimming Lessons
Seven Palms Sentosa Cove is a 41-unit beachfront development on Cove Drive, described by its developer as Singapore's only beachfront residence. Its 41-metre infinity pool faces the sea, and a number of units have their own private lap pools, so private swimming lessons here can take place in the shared pool or, for some residents, at home.

About the pools at Seven Palms
The long infinity pool is well suited to stroke practice and lap sets for older children and adults. Beginners and young children learn in the shallowest section with the coach within reach. Residents with a private 10-metre lap pool can use it for technique lessons, though the short length limits continuous swimming.
Pool details are as published by the development and may change. We do not have standing access to Seven Palms; lessons depend on your access as a resident, the condominium's rules and coach availability.
Who lessons at Seven Palms are for
With only 41 homes, Seven Palms is one of the most private settings in Sentosa Cove for lessons. Students are usually the children of resident families, adults who want to be confident swimming at Tanjong Beach next door, and occasionally guests staying with residents for an extended period.
Kids swimming lessons at Seven Palms
Children's lessons use the shallow end for confidence, breathing and floating, then progress to kicking and strokes along the pool's length. Being metres from the beach, families often ask coaches to include practical sea-safety skills such as floating calmly, treading water and swimming back to a fixed point.
Adult swimming lessons at Seven Palms
Adults at Seven Palms often have a specific aim: swimming comfortably in the sea, keeping up with children in the water, or turning laps into a fitness routine. The infinity pool supports proper stroke work, and the beach next door provides a natural next step once technique is stable.
Lesson formats available
Every format is taught at your pool by the same coach each week. Larger classes are not run at residential pools.
| Format | Best for | Typical duration |

| Small group (3–4) | Neighbours' children of similar age and level | 60 min |
| Family session | Parents and children learning in one coach visit | 60–90 min, split between learners |
How lessons at Seven Palms work
Access and pool rules
Lessons take place only with a Seven Palms resident's access. The coach is registered as your guest and follows the pool rules set by the management. If you want lessons in a unit's private pool, that is entirely at your discretion as the resident. We hold no access to the development.
Coach matching
Tell us the swimmer's age, experience and your preferred days. We match a coach whose experience fits, for example a coach used to toddlers, a female coach for ladies' lessons, or a coach experienced with autism. The same coach teaches every week so progress is consistent. Read about our swimming coaches in Sentosa.
Weather
The pool is fully exposed on the beachfront, so wind and rain are felt more than in sheltered estates. Lessons stop on lightning risk and are rescheduled if it does not clear. Coaches check conditions before travelling to the beach side of Cove Drive.
Seven Palms: lesson questions
Can lessons be held in my unit's private lap pool?
Yes for technique and confidence work, since the pool is yours to use. For lap distance, the shared 41-metre pool is better. The coach can use both across a lesson if you wish.
Do you teach sea swimming at Tanjong Beach?
Our lessons are pool based. Once a swimmer is competent, a coach can include sea-safety skills in the pool and advise on building up to beach swimming. Open-water coaching is outside the scope of our standard Sentosa lessons.
Is the infinity edge a safety concern for children?
The infinity edge is a design feature with a catch basin, not an open drop. Coaches keep beginners in the shallow area and away from the edge, and children are never left unsupervised.
